Canary Instruments, a company owned by Propelsion, and inventor Josiah Norton have designed an energy monitor that inspires the psyche to think conservatively.
Described as a REEM (Resident Energy Education Monitor), this energy monitor provides an intuitive, dynamic and attractive display of energy use. The REEM monitors the energy usage of each living unit, providing real time, aesthetic, feedback on instantaneous power and daily energy usage.
These products are currently only available to contractors and developers, and will be available for the consumer market in early 2014.
